DemoShelf

Privacy Policy

Last updated July 30, 2026

This policy explains what DemoShelf does with your data. The short version: the site has no accounts and no sign-in, we do not collect personal information about you, and analytics runs only if you consent.

What we don't collect

We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not create a profile identifying you. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to delete.

Analytics (optional)

If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use PostHog (page views, product usage and session recordings, processed in the EU) and Google Analytics (aggregate audience reporting). Both work from a randomly generated identifier rather than your name, and they help us see which videos people watch and where the site is confusing.

Google Analytics runs with IP anonymisation on and advertising, remarketing and personalisation signals switched off, so your data is not used to target ads. We do not sell data to anyone.

Decline and neither service is loaded — no requests, no cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time on the Cookie Policy page.

What our servers record

Like almost every website, our servers keep short-lived operational logs of requests — the page requested, a timestamp, and technical details such as the browser's user agent. We use these only to keep the site running and to diagnose errors. They are not used to build a profile of you or shared for marketing.

View counts

We count how many times each video page is opened. This is an aggregate number attached to the video, not to you — no identifier of any kind is stored alongside it.

Media hosting

Videos and images are served from our storage provider's content delivery network. Requesting that media discloses your IP address to the provider, as it must for any file to reach your browser.

Third-party links

Videos may link to external sellers. Once you follow such a link you are on that company's website, governed by their privacy policy — not this one.

Children

The site is not directed at children, and because we collect no personal information we do not knowingly hold data about anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it.
